Not sure how or why but the whole album makes me feel like I'm 10 years old again (Is this it replaying over and over again in my mind but oh- it's a different album!) ...also, so much wiser and cooler with a refined taste. I remembered hearing some of the teasers at the Strokes's NYE at Barclays and just finding a way to dance (I don't even dance, damnit)
This album is just that strangely nostalgic - oh happy days and especially crushing it for me during COVID; basically, it's telling me to just remember all the better days without COVID.
I'm loving it at every time of the day (working out, designing, painting, working, reading, cooking, baking, whatever-)
All time favorite Strokes albums: Is this It and The New Abornomal. Yeah, everything about 2020 is the new abnormal.(ha, couldn't end the review without that)
