Overall a missed opportunity - despite being based on an incredible true story, everything Guy Ritchie was aiming for.
An off-beat Inglorious Basterds like pacing and darkish comedy just misses the mark.
There’s lots of action but it feels vapid, almost fantastical and the dialogue feels like a waste of Henry Cavill’s talents.
The writing just feels weak, and the characters caricatures of themselves down to the “bad guy” who never really amounts to much, like the movie itself.
