You wouldn’t think a movie about car racing would be that interesting but it was riveting thanks to excellent cinematography, a Hans Zimmer score and solid performance by Pitt and Bardem. It’s a good sign when a 2.5 hour movie feels like just the right length.

I loved this movie - finally a Marvel movie that has dares to give its characters more than quips and one-liners. There was a good and quite profound character backgrounds for some but not all of them, and stellar performances you wouldn’t expect from a Marvel movie. Compared to the latest Captain America, this movie felt like a rich tapestry.

Loved all the performances… but it felt hurriedly stitched together somehow. There’s a slow pace to the backdrop of Dakota and yet things unravelled in a city like pace that just didn’t feel right.

Not a bad movie - I think the monsters / cgi was a let down as there was no depth to their presence. But the two main characters made for a good watch.

the movie is missing one main thing (besides a plot)… it’s Venom kicking ass. If you want heartfelt comedy Spider-Man fits the bill.

Prepare to cry like you’ve never cry before - this is a tragedy-romance, with some undertones about karma, redemption and love. It’s like real life… amidst the sadness and horror, there is beauty and love.

Always hard to wrap up a series - the first 2 seasons were amazing, the third was good and season 4. Well let’s just say it had a different formula and they did what the MCU did to try and make sense of everything by doing the whole timeline thing. Not particularly creative but all the characters we love are here.

Similar to Dune 2 - the film itself is gorgeous, individual performance are good but did it move me? Was there anything not recycled from the original? It was hard to find.

Overall a missed opportunity - despite being based on an incredible true story, everything Guy Ritchie was aiming for. An off-beat Inglorious Basterds like pacing and darkish comedy just misses the mark. There’s lots of action but it feels vapid, almost fantastical and the dialogue feels like a waste of Henry Cavill’s talents. The writing just feels weak, and the characters caricatures of themselves down to the “bad guy” who never really amounts to much, like the movie itself.
