While its great to have another chapter in the star wars universe this is as disappointing as the first half of The Book of Boba Fett. The writing is severely uneven. Characters are alternately supremely skilled or severely distracted. Grown men/creatures are unable to chase down a 10 year old girl who alternately has the wisdom of a budding jedi or acts exactly as a 10 year old should. The two episodes are just a collection of clumsily strung together events. I would not reccomend this to someone who is not a fan of star wars. Well, I do reccomend this to Red Hot Chili Peppers fans. Flea turns in the best acting performance by a rock bassist that I’ve seen in a while. Having watched all episodes, the series proved to be truly disappointing. The poor writing continued and there was no rescue coming from a mandalorian or a skywalker. The characters continued to act nonsensically and the series built to a dual storyline climax whose ending was already determined by the Main Star wars storyline. The last episode was a real waste of time. If you haven’t started the series, don’t waste your time since there is nothing important revealed.

Very disappointing movie. Sat through many scenes of a severely disfunctional and depressing marriage without the reward of a plot twist or emotional ending of any sort. The only bright spot was the little actress playing the daughter Trixie. Don't waste your time here.

It is a testament to the writing of this show that it is carried forward on the strengths of its two main characters. The supporting cast storylines are very well written also but it is the dynamic between the two leading women that keeps you interested. Jean Smart does her usual brilliant work and Hannah Einbinder does a great job keeping up. I highly recommend this show.

This show is many of the things that others have written about it so I won’t repeat them here. After a slow first few minutes the show quickly picks up the pace and then it doesn’t let up. The intensity picks up with every episode, in other words, it’s relentless. Once you are in, you will stay until the very end. A definite must see.

I have been a fan of Eastwood’s for years but this movie just is not as good as his other work. The film opens with a scene in which Dwight Yoakam lays out Clint’s character’s entire back story in one long speech. The next scene does more exposition with a string of photos and a grainy reenacting of the accident just mentioned in the previous scene. These are clumsy plot devices used by lesser film makers. It’s difficult to accept that a man of Clint’s obvious age would not have the sense to turn down the cross border mission central to the plot. It also stretches credulity that anyone close to Clint would send him on such a mission. The role is not necessarily a young man’s but Clint should have hired someone for this one. Unfortunately my reccomendation is to pass on this one, besides the miscasting, it’s just not a good film.

Unlike the professional reviewers, I, and the average Marvel, fan find this to be a waste of two Marvel characters. Odes to classic tv shows are fine in their own context but the Marvel universe is not it.The average fan has never seen a show from the 50’s or 60’s so the concept falls flat. I grew up with “Leave it to Beaver” and “The Dick Van Dyke Show” reruns and still couldn’t sit through this. The only saving grace is that it is two minor characters being used and there is hope for a quick death and a move on to better projects.
