This show was never on my watchlist but I'm @ episode 4 and have to say this show is like my happy pill! Truly delightful and makes my heart happy. The cast is so beautiful, funny, and just a joy to watch. My first introduction to the male lead...what an adorable actor!! Absolutely love his character! I've watched the female lead in one or 2 kdramas which I can't really remember because I was never really a fan UNTIL this show. DDSSLLS is the perfect vaccine for these social distancing/pandemic times we're in. Even the ost soundtracks makes me happy!

I'm late to this drama but it's ok, I've just marathoned it for 2 days & completed it today. fyi, since I stumbled into the world of kdramas for 10 plus years now, I've only read or heard news about Kim Tae Hee's remarkable beauty naming her as one of Korea's most beautiful. However, this was my first time watching her in a drama and I have to say she nailed her character as Cha Yu-ri 100%. Her performance was poignant, wholesome & believable. I felt every bit of her emotions when she was furious, sad, when she was in so much pain for her loved ones, I felt it all. Also my first time watching the actor who played the main lead Kang Hwa. He was equally fantastic at portraying his character. He certainly delivered 100%! In addition, Kim Mi Kyung, the actress that played Cha Yu-ri's mother NEVER disappoints in any of her supporting actress performances. Every show she's in that I've seen thus far, I always end up loving. I LOVE HER and definitely one of my favorite supporting actresses ever. I am looking forward to see more work from these above mentioned talented actors. In all honesty, ghosts/reincarnation/exorcists/shamans etc are things I personally don't value nor believe in. But that didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying this drama. It was delightful and thought provoking especially when it comes to the message of living life to the fullest, to treat your loved ones good and treasure every moment you have with them, let go of petty things.... so you'll have no regrets when that time comes.

One of the very few kdramas I've watched more than once, twice, thryce...wait, I think it's the only one I've watched more than once. That's how good it is in my opinion because I don't even like watching shows or movies more than once no matter how good it is. Need more shows like this. The cast was uhhhh-mazing and the plot, sound track was awesome. I still listen to some of these tracks often that even my kids love jamming with me to some of these songs. The ballads are beautiful and added so much to the show. Typically I skip the intro of dramas but not this one, the intro and the song is so fun and catchy. just found out that the main female lead is the one singing the vocals for the intro song. I LOVE IT! I realize it's not everyone's cup of tea...but when you're an ahjumma, very few dramas will make you intrigued from beginning to end....this one definitely was worth every second of my undivided attention. It's a very unique drama and so much chemistry between the cast and the main leads....not to mention the comedic relief was on point. 1000% rating from this American lady.

Wanted to wait until I completed the full drama to say something because I didn't want to be disappointed eventually...however, from the first episode, I knew right off the bat that this would be one of those shows I would not have to use the skip forward button and I was right. I was intrigued from beginning to end. The 2 main leads were just a delight to watch.....such eye candies! My first drama of Seo Yea Ji and I was swooned! She did justice to Ku Mun Yeong. Who am I kidding....the whole cast did! They were phenomenal and biggest shout out to the actor who played Moon Sang tae, he was incredible and needs to win an award for this show. Bring on Season 2 please writers, producers and Korean entertainment industry!

*UPDATED on 2/17/2020 So glad that this drama did not disappoint my initial comments. It's truly one of the best dramas ever....coming from someone who's watched over a hundred kdramas in the last 10 years. The last 2 episodes has made me cry so much only because the feelings portrayed by these characters were so raw and realistic.I woke up with swollen eyes this morning; also lamenting the fact that it ended. Can we have a Season 2 please?..a continuation of their love story portraying what they wished for, having a son or a daughter or twins whether living in Switzerland, SK or NK intertwined? Bring on Season 2 of Crash landing on you!!! Korean entertainment, if this drama/cast/main leads/writer etc don't win any awards, then something is definitely wrong with your entertainment industry. 12/27/2019 If you haven't jumped on this wagon, you're missing out! It better win some major awards and gain much more popularity internationally than Descendants of the sun which was so mediocre for my liking. To say the main leads are amazing is an understatement. My first drama of Son Ye jin yet she has instantly won me as a fan. Hyun Bin on the other hand, I would say, there's never been a show I've watched of him where I've been disappointed and this one is no exception....he really is a versatile and such a talented natural actor. I'm rooting that he and Son Ye Jin gain the daesung award for this show. Everything about the drama is superb - the acting, the cast, storyline, cinematography - simply beautiful and realistic. It's one of those shows you don't want to end yet you're always at the edge of your seat awaiting for the next episode.....I wished I waited until it was complete because it's killing me waiting for each episodes every week.

Ohemgee, just finished episode 4 and I am so shipping Sae-yo-ri and Jo Yiseo. I have no knowledge about the storyline and casting of this drama but I really thought Kwon Nara was going to be Park seo joon's love interest in this show. So glad to see that it probably won't be so. I prefer Jo yiseo's character much better than Soo-ha. Soo ha seems like a mild gold digger and very disloyal. All in all, loving this drama thus far. Glad to have something that will fill the void once Crash landing on you ends next week.

Thank you kdramapal blog and your post about some of the most underrated 2019 kdramas or I would've missed out on this gem. I've been watching kdramas for 10 plus years now, and yes I've watched some great ones but for some reason, the only ones I've had the urge to do a google review on is Crash landing on you and this one - Welcome 2 Life. RAIN gave an outstanding performance on this show. I hope he gets recognition for it and hope to see him in more upcoming shows. In fact, I would love to see him and his wife Kim Tae hee together on a drama. This was definitely a fun watch.
