I got The Forest back a little after when it was first released. This was before they added the rest of the story. Back then, the open-world full of exploration and adventure was enough to make the game worth it. The game was great and super exciting. The fact that you can play with friends is also a great plus. I stopped playing the game after a while but decided to come back once the story was completed. That was a while ago, but I decided to come back again recently. After replaying the game in the hard survival game mode and finishing with both endings using saves, I have to say, The Forest definitely has to be one of my most favorite games. The survival and horror aspects of the game are great, but the full story really makes the game amazing. All the detail put into the story just makes it so intriguing and I am very impressed with how much extra work the developers must have done to finish the story. It truly is a great game and once you get the hang of it, I'm sure you won't be let down.
