The game is absolutely incredible. Played the original when I was 16. When comparing the stories from FFVII to the remake, have to say it does lack a little bit from playing the original. I’m glad that they changed a couple of things to get new players interested in the story. I can tell that Square Enix really put a lot of time into the gameplay and story. They especially put a lot of details into the main characters of the game even to the freckle on there faces. Now I don’t want to spoil the story for anyone but I will say for anyone out there that says “it’s different from the original” etc, don’t forget it’s a remake. It’s just a retold story of what we “old timers” already know. Remember when a story is told again after so many years there are some details that may have been forgotten even left out from the story teller. So maybe this is square enix (then squaresoft) retelling the story again and forgot to mention a few things lol.
