couldn't she ever be happy? This was such a depressing sad movie. She never embraced a single thing. She was such a sad and depressing character. I think it was beautifully acted but i really wanted her to find some kind of happiness.. Yet all she could do was reject offers of happiness and not fill the rejection with any love of life herself. She was a pitiful character.
