Read the book, saw the Danny DeVito film, went to west end to see in theatre and enjoyed all. Happy to say this is an excellent addiont to the pack. Fun, cheeky with Dahl’s normal cautionary tale vibe. Well worth the visit. Family gave it 10/10 and I struggle to disagree

It’s either an amazing drama about love, life, loss, the meaning of life, is there a god, or I just spent two hours watching paint dry. Better for seeing it though and Brad Pitt is great in the main role. I just wonder if it could have been so much more.
