This was on my recommendations, but I never actually watched the trailer. During a movie night, we had took a leap of faith and started watching it with no clue what it was about (bc Katie Holmes is legit, and the title/cover made it seem super mysterious). It was BETTER THAN EXPECTED and even though slightly predictable, it kept me guessing if my predictions were right. My sister and I were trying to piece things together through the movie and by the time it all happened, we were a step ahead. But the ending made so much sense. And it also shows how effed up this world can be and how corrupt police can be, but that's not the point of the movie. Overall I would say 5 starts for being intrigued but I'm giving it 4 stars bc there are way too many questions after the way it ended. And even though it ends with a little bit of a cliffhanger... You'll probably never see how things unfolded and you'll never know how they continue their lives from there. And the like girl... Heather... What ever happened to her. And please for the love of God, please tell me they adopted the dog!!!!!!
