truly amazing once in a lifetime series. Started watching when it was "on air" originally with my late husband. Lost my hubby to cancer and for a few years couldnt bear to watch without him. Picked up again finally and binged the entire series. Weird as this may sound, this show helped me through my grief yet also kept my husbands memory alive for me. The entire cast fit parts perfectly while being relatable to us everyday people. I laughed, cried and rooted with "the boys" every step. I really feel the show lasted so long for many situations felt close to so many of our own real life ones. While viewing, we could forget our own troubles. I have gone back and rewatched this series many many times (going on the 8th time now) and I still pick up little tidbits I missed prior. So much hidden within this show thats easily overlooked. I even loved the "villians" such as my fav Crowley King of Hell. No one can possibly match his witty remarks, Lucifer played Satan so well that I cant even picture anyone else in that role. Lastly Rowena, the most powerful witch to ever be, whom I came to love and admire and bawled like a newborn when she "died." Whoever did casting was a genius. I prefer shows dealing with these types of things and loved seeing the lore and various "creatures" brought to life. I miss it. Can honestly admit to not viewing the spin off Winchesters for it just didnt appeal to me. would love to see a series of Bobby and Rufus, how they got together, the backstories, or even the campbells. just never was a fan of Mary so that dont help. Anyone with a liking of supernatural things should definitely give this a watch..youll be hooked. would also love to see this series on a more adult platform...holy cow..can you even imagine?

all in all i did find the series entertaining even if a bit maddening at times. was nice to see an all black superhero family and portray some of the issues they go through on the daily. I loved the actor who portrayed Jefferson and feel he fit the character well. was also nice to see an "older" superhero, especially one with wisdom and morals. My only issue with the series was the way the females in the family acted at times. The egos. The arrogance. The teen daughter at times made me want to quit watching. I don't care if she got "teen angst" as they say but I have never seen a teen that behaved that awfully unless completely spoiled and a brat. Repeating the same mistakes yet never learning or having consequences is just absurd. Then later turning Lynn the way they did and making her just as awful. The ending didnt fit well either. Whole mess with J.J. and Jen seemed off. Why bring old Jen back at all? Honestly I preferred the new jen. Her behaviors were toned down, seemed more thoughtful of her actions and thoughtful of her family. I would love to see a spinoff on Khalil/Painkiller. Lastly the actor playing Tobias was amazing. I found myself hating his evil butt yet loving him as a bad guy both. He played an insane evil better than any I can remember.

honestly, when I first saw the trailers for this series I had zero interest. To be honest, I'm not a huge comedy lover so it is rare that I actually end up liking one, let alone laugh out loud while watching. Then one evening I ran out of shows to choose from and thought, heh , I'll give it a try. So glad I did. Firstly I always appreciated Arnold movies, and this one is no exception. Decent action to keep your interest, good choice on actors all throughout. The entire cast seems to have that "connection" that makes them easy to watch, that certain "vibe" that plays off each other. I ended up binging multiple episodes and before I knew it the next day dawned. I even found myself doing something rare....I laughed out LOUD....more than once! I know there has been a few comments of not appreciating certain jokes and them being "offensive" to some, and I'm sorry but I found it refreshing. To be honest I'm tired of all the "tiptoing" around things these days so as to not offend...well almost anyone. Laughter heals. Sometimes making light of situations can ease the burdens of it. I also feel they did well adding a gay charecter without being "in your face" about it. Too many shows of late have jumped on the bandwagon and added a gay, nonbinary,other and in doing so it felt "off" and was focused on to the point of being obnoxious. jmo. (case in pont umbrella academy)loved that series at first now im truly annoyed by it. I find myself looking forward to season 2, especially noting who all ended up in the vehicle together in the end! Sets up some very interesting situations. the mother and Luke, the daughter Emma, her ex Carter,and Aldon. Lukes son, his wife and kid, roo, and lastly Barry..then that leaves Tina who as we saw was speaking Russian on the phone to a mystery person...and her entire personna changed as she did so...leading me to believe she is the "mole"...poor Barry! Oh I hate waiting! anyways give it a shot, you may be surprised as I was!

really really wanted to like this. i love channing tatum, well his "dancing" anyways..lol. his moves are so fluid, so precise when need be, so full of emotion/passion. he oozes a primal sexuality when dancing that any women( or man for that matter) cant help but find hot. the first 2 movies will always have a place in my heart and yes my blazened in my brain. this one....myeh. i get it that they wanted *Mike* to find love. but they forgot the premise of the story, the basic rawness that drew us in. the individual dancers he gathered had so much potential talent yet none showed that primal full sexuality. like they was downgraded to pg-13 versions. ive seen more sexuality on music videos. channing rarely danced himself and even when he did at the end, yes it was steamy but didnt have the primal rawness to it. he was like a sidekick and the girl was the star dancer.overall dont pay to watch this...if you can for free take a chance just dont expect too much.

i watched on netflix and netflix shows can be hit or miss especially foreign made. this was pretty darn good. tons of apocolyptic movies but most seem on similar premises..viruses or usual common natural disasters. this was different, yet not so different that the "event" wasnt believable. you learn early on the sun turned lethal. i like shows with lots going on, action as well as make you think a little. this did that. revolves around a group of people who get stuck together to survive as most of these types of shows do, but, each character was well laid out, each having their own backstory making you sympathetic to each. you may not like the person but u understand them. found myself rooting even for the "bad guys" to survive. so far its only 1 season but there is also a spin off coinciding at the same time of this series events. i recommend both. was very binge worthy. i hope they follow up both with another season for found myself wanting to see what happens next and how they tie in to each other.

Despite the negative reviews I thought it was actually decent. Then again almost every time these "critics" say something is horrible I like it. Have to take in consideration most of these so called " critics" are young film students taking apart every detail of a film instead of watching it just to "enjoy." They always prefer the originals no matter how awful they may have been. Don't get me wrong originals have their places..in THAT time frame. But for those of us looking for plain entertainment, most of us just don't put much heed in the film angles, what types of lighting, etc. make up the movie. I look at each movie as "its own." This one if you don't look at others of Frankenstein I think was a bit unique in the story. Not the same old drivel Frankenstein is a monster blah blah blah. A bit different spin than the usual. Effects were pretty stunning and visually exciting. Plot decent. Kept my attention. Left open for sequels. Overall I really enjoyed it truthfully and would watch again.
