La'a Velardo

This was a hot mess of a decent novel sequel. I really can’t fathom why directors think they can improve on a hit by adding their unoriginal ideas. The movie barely touched on Danny’s struggle with alcoholism, guilt, familial ties & redemption. The acting was on par but ruined by contrived storytelling. Mike Flanagan just should have called it The Shining 2: Return to the Overlook Hotel. 👎🏼👎🏼
