ATTN: Spoilers!! I'm only giving the extra star because I believe good intentions were there. Unfortunately, the technical and procedural research was not. When you have several ongoing investigations at an Airport, normal functions would never continue. You had what would have been a death investigation of a Police Officer inside the terminal and a person shot dead in the parking garage which would have involved an Active Crime Scene/Homicide Investigation. You also had a TSA Supervisor that was stabbed dead and concealed in a search room, not responding to radio transmissions and unaccounted for. This would have all resulted in a complete lockdown of the Airport and a search for possible Offenders and or evidence. Any indication of Explosives and/or Biological Weapons in an Airport or on a Aircraft would have also resulted in a complete lockdown of the Airport and a response from pretty much every Federal Agency, Bomb, and HazMat Teams. In addition, there is NO Way that an LAPD Detective would be making the final call on whether a flight was clear for take off. The scope of the situation would have resulted in decisions being made by POTUS, Dept of Defense, FAA, FBI, Homeland Security, and Counter Terrorism. Because of this lack of research in procedure and the functions of Law Enforcement and Gov't Agencies and the bad acting especially by the unconvincing LAPD Detective, I give this movie a sympathetic 2 stars.

Huge fan of Yellowstone, I've been watching since day 1. I was excited at the thought of another well written and original series. This show is awful. The story is all over the place and even if you could follow the story, it's so boring you won't want to waste the energy. Renner does as well as possible but even he can't hold this disaster together. Its like a poor mans version of The Wire mixed with The Shield and a drop of House of Cards. Oh yeah, maybe a drop of Oz also. All of which blow this series out of the water. I pray that 1883 is not a poor mans version of Dances with Wolves. Skip this one.

I sure hope the book Sam Worthington is writing in the movie is better than the actual movie. What a waste of good actors. Keitel and Worthington seemed just as bored acting in the movie as anyone who dares to watch this dull, bland movie. I've seen better story-telling on hr long crime shows on discovery and the ID channel. Leave this genre for Scorcese or Coppola. Clearly there is a talent problem in Hollywood, too much activism and not enough actual talent and creativity. Total dud!! I decided to fold laundry instead, much more interesting.

*Contains Spoilers* I would rank this in my top 5 dumbest movies of all time. Here is a itemized list of ridiculousness. 1. Guy has a Tiger in 3 or 4th floor condo behind a single ply wood door with dime store locks. How did he get it up there unnoticed by other residents. 2. Mel Gibson is a retired police boss with multiple serious health conditions and was about to be hospitalized, now able to fight guys twice his size and half his age. Also able to sustain multiple gunshot wounds and continue. He dies eventually, Bosworth leaves his ballistic vest instead of putting it on. 3. Emile Hirsch reminds me of Jack Black and totally not convincing in the role of police officer. Falls 4 stories down on top of another character and breaks no bones. Yeah ok. The back story of a friendly fire incident killing his police girlfriend is also ridiculous. 4. In typical fashion which is probably the only realistic part, Mel the retired boss is gonna use his clout to get the gorgeous female officer a spot in a unit she is not qualified for. 5. The buddy of Mel that has an arsenal of weapons, displays them in plain view on his wall in a apartment for all to see. No firearms guy would do that. 6. I'm about 30min remaining, not sure I can make it through. 7. Bad acting, especially Emile Hirsch. Dialogue is awful between characters. The cheesy I'm hitting on you scene when Kate Bosworth is putting 3 stitches in his calf. The worst. 8. I love the scene when the bad guy kicks over the chair Stephanie Cayo is tied to and you can clearly tell its a mannequin when the chair is falling. Hilarious. Only redeeming quality of the movie is the jaw dropping beauty of Stepanie Cayo.

Took me 4 days to finish it because it is so boring and disorganized. Main characters disappear off the screen for 20 minutes at a time then reappear. The chapter stuff has already been done in other movies and its mostly a terrible way of telling a story and an easy way for the filmmaker to cover up flaws and holes in the flow of the film. By far the most boring drug dealer story I've ever seen on screen. The movie tries to be edgy and hip, it's not. The dialogue between characters is not very creative and there are no exchanges between characters that will evoke an emotion out of the viewer. Vince Vaughn does a good job with a lousy role and the other actors do their best with their lousy characters. The film should have never been made. Total waste of a decent cast for a terrible film.
