First I'm going to start with some of the issues of the game. The first issue I have is the random encounters. The random encounters seem to happen more often than you would like, as it seems as if it takes hardly any steps to get an encounter. That could be good or bad. The movement in the overworld is occasionally choppy, as your character will get caught on random things while going around a corner every once in a while. Now for the good. The graphics (not the graphic type) in the overworld are beautiful, and take me back to pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The graphics and backdrops during the battles are phenomenal compared to any of the other games we have seen. The Sinnoh Underground is fantastic. It looks fantastic, it's like the wild area, and you can explore to your heart's content. Overall, the good clearly outweighs the bad here. I've seen many complaints about no regional variants. Excuse me? When did you start playing pokemon? Generation 7? I've also seen complaints about the fairy type being in the game. To those people, this is generation 8, not generation 4. Overall, due to the game having a few bugs and all, but it being fantastic in every other way, I'm rating this as 4 stars.
