(Will update later if review is premature).
Not the biggest fan so far. It does have some of the classic elements that I loved as a kid but levels seem endless. The first couple spyros had a maximum number of gems for each level, this on does not. It even goes so far as to allow for gem multipler power ups from the gem store. The next issue I have is with the gem store, they are spread throughout the map and unlock new abilities, temporary power ups, and special ammunition. It feels very out of place. The next thing to feel out of place is the whole currency and token system in general. On top of everything I stated for about the money, you also collect eggs, light gems, and destory dark gems. It doesn't feels almost like dead content, they are trying to keep around. Lastly, you start with too many moves out the gate. They feel unearned. I'd say mechanics need dialed back and less collecables. Just make the next ones like the original 3 just new maps and bosses.
