I got just one conclusion after watching the movie. South Korea is a very messed up country, much more than the rest of the world.

SJK is the reason why viewers are drawn to the show. And the problem here is SJK outshined by his compatriots. Expectations are high with his presence, the show not that bad, but you can tell he took a back seat in this one. And dark comedy is an uncommon blend. Son Ye Jin did a dark comedy movie before and it did not stood out. Historically dark comedy never stood out.

The war and battle scenes are extremely poor, short, small and low budget. Obviously the reshooting did not go well.
