Lead writer stated the goal of the game was to focus on gay rights. The characters are either part of the LGBT community or asexual.
The graphics are decent. The enemy AI is some is the worst I've ever seen. Shoot an enemy and his buddy looks around and waits to be shot.
The story is fine, but typical anti American BS for which this series is known.
The game has quite a few bugs like enemies getting trapped underground, missions not competing. Occasional graphic issues.
The puzzles are both boring and tedious, and you'll need to solve then to acquire guns and needed materials.
A lot of hold out missions (protect X from soldiers). An example is a tedious mission is guiding a hostage to a certain point. The hostage stops so often, it makes a five minute boring mission into fifteen. There is no way to prompt these types of things, you just have to wait. And they happen frequently.
Healing animations are extremely long and laughably unrealistic. You'll die more often than getting any use from them, as you can't shoot or do anything while they occur.
The political agenda is forefront and in your face. Instead of focusing on a good game, they used worn out tropes with stereotypical gay characters and called it a day.
After nearly half of the characters were outwardly and aggressively gay, hitting on you, etc, one poor character complained about how they (they're trans) had to go to the US because Yara doesn't take well to his kind?
So the game is both severely anti American, but correctly shows that its open and free and doesn't judge. Gotcha.
After literally the whole case is characters are outwardly gay OR completely asexual.
This game is more similar in action to Just Cause.
That's my fair review for Just Cry LGB 6: The Battle to make Yara completely gay.
