Hetvi Shah is a complete goober and his review wasn't done in earnest. Maybe they have spent too much time watching the same recycled garbage that comes out of the horror genre, but this is the best horror movie I've seen in well over a decade, and I'm a bit upset I put off watching this until now.
It's not traditional jump scares, and for most of the movie, nothing supernatural happens. The sensory-overload in the last 5 minutes is absurdly good. More of a "slow burn" sort of film, but far removed from standard horror tropes and films that are regurgitated, year after year.
