Okay, I’m really not the biggest Shailene Woodley or Miles Teller fan, but this movie is so beautifully done. It truly highlights what it means to be an awkward teenager, tantalized by the unknowns of life. It’s so devastating and gorgeous at the same time. With that said, this is definitely not the movie for everyone and I understand how people have found numerous faults in it, but those faults are what make it so eye catching and memorable. Don’t get me wrong: this is definitely not a movie I watch regularly, mostly because it can get a bit heavy, but every time I have, I have appreciated its message and its ability to reach people in all walks of life.
