Looking at the reviews I had my hesitations, but the game is actually pretty great. The story isn't anything totally new, but it's a classic and there's a reason those keep getting repeated, it's fine. The game itself is super fun to play, the combat is awesome, the parkour adds to it and everything just flows. What I really don't understand is how many of these professional reviewers say they completed the game and did some side stuff and only played the game for 15 hours or so. The only way I can see anyone getting through it so fast is if they put the difficulty on story mode and sprint through the main quest without doing anything else at all. So, using the most basic combat because it requires nothing else on story mode and rushing past everything as fast as possible. And then giving the game a bad review because that's what's expected right now. That's sad and while somewhat understandable, is pretty pathetic and absolutely destroyed my trust in any of the professional reviewers that did this. The game is so much more than that and they gave it no chance while pushing out .. basically a lie. For clicks.
