This show is definitely the funniest and most eccentric cop show ever, and I especially love Jake, with his utterly hilarious personality and almost everything that goes on in the show. Unfortunately, I can't say I love it all the way, because it has so much unpleasant content. There's so much disgusting sex and nudity talk, and the good guys bully and sexually harass each other in the workplace quite a bit, as well as doing things like smoking and getting recklessly drunk. Those things are not darkly comedic visual gags (another thing I love about B99). They're objectively unacceptable. Like, if you want to have the BAD GUYS do those things, like Figes or Hawkins or The Vulture, then of course be my guest, because they're the bad guys. But not the GOOD GUYS. It normalizes toxicity and perversion, and also promotes a lot of bad messages. For instance, how Jake and Rosa ABSOLUTELY should have disowned their parents a long time ago, but they make a whole big so-called "heartwarming" deal in multiple episodes where they get into heated issues with horrible things their parents have done, and then at the end, they accept each other, respecting their parents' awful choices as if it's the right thing to do, and treating their monstrous abuses like forgivable mistakes. What the Peraltas and Diazes did to their children is monstrous. They should have cut them out of their lives a long time ago, and never forgiven them. If all that perversion and toxicity had been struck, I would give B99 five stars, no doubt. Cause I LOVE the characters, AND the show, and nearly all the plots and murders and mysteries and cases. I just wish they'd struck all of that bad stuff.

Poor writing, unfunny and unentertaining playout with zero solid jokes or juicy scenes, and a PAINFULLY cliche plot of a man and woman getting together romantically, the entire thing just feeling like a forced heteronormative setup. Thut and Nefer have literally NO chemistry or romantic vibes, and their whole "falling in love" arc is RIDICULOUSLY forced. I'd see them more becoming best friends, and bonding over a shared desire to stay single. I'd really like to see a movie about a man and a woman who become best friends instead of predictably becoming a romantic couple, especially a pair like these who have zero romantic chemistry, and very visible anti-romance views. Also, Thut gave me massive gay vibes from the very beginning of the movie. I can't see him with a woman, least of all with Nefer. But I can definitely see him either with a man or staying single. He's either gay or aromantic. And Nefer is definitely either lesbian or aromantic. Thut's PTSD of chariot racing is evidently a signature aspect of his character, yet this is practically never explored, nor is Nefer's signature dream of running away from her princess life and becoming a singer. The villain is paper-thin and gets taken down in like a few seconds, and there's nothing elaborate, interesting or well-written about the plot, or the worldbuilding. Both the world and its story lack heart and soul. And the musical numbers are forced and bland. This feels like a movie concept that would have the potential to be a REALLY great movie, but wasn't. If they'd focused more on Thut and Nefer's character arcs as individuals, with Nefer living her singing dream and Thut confronting his past and facing his fears, and have them bond as platonic friends while maintaining their pro-single representation and firm desire not to get married, instead of forcibly shoving them into a predictable heterosexual romance cliche, THAT would have made a great movie.

I only watched the first episode, and I can say it's pretty underwhelming to be honest. For one thing, I really don't like the lighthearted-dance-remix atmosphere of the show; it kind of kills the story and any attempt at a serious or dramatic vibe. And I'm getting kinda sick of the "overly cheerful, energetic, optimistic girl" trope Disney keeps throwing at us. Lunella Lafayette is absolutely nothing like she is in the books. I like how she's kinder and more open-minded than she is in the books, where to tell the truth, she's kind of a jerk and a bit of a Mary Sue, but I don't like how in the show, she's just yet another Molly McGee-esque female stereotype, who's super popular with everyone and obesssed with friendship and smiles and positivity, when she's supposed to be an introvert who illustrates the perks and struggles of being a misfit and a genius. The "overly cheerful, energetic, optimistic" girl has been used in one too many shows, and it's getting old and frankly a bit sexist at this point. How about a girl who's down-to-earth, practical, and a bit grumpy and sarcastic at times, like she is in the books, rather than just yet another carbon copy of Molly McGee. This constantly reused female trope in Disney shows is getting really old and underwhelming.

This movie romanticizes and promotes sexual harassment. At the beginning of the movie, Juli has a crush on Bryce, and she starts constantly stalking and harassing him, doing things like sniffing his hair in class and invading his personal space, making him incredibly uncomfortable to the point where he's terrified to go out in fear of bumping into her. Juli has the audacity to think she is entitled to disrespect him like this, all while she is somehow too blinded by her romantic delusions to realize how uncomfortable she's making him. That is an absolutely toxic kind of admirer, who you want to avoid full stop. And when Bryce talks to his family about how creepy she's being and how uncomfortable it's making him, do they sympathize with him and put a stop to it? No. They say "Boy, you're lucky! That type of girl is rare!" That he should consider himself LUCKY to have someone stalking and harassing him like that. This is disgusting. Then later in the movie, when Bryce has a crush on Juli (bad idea in itself, she's obviously a bad seed he should be keeping as far away from as possible), she has made it very clear to him after he insulted her disabled uncle that she hates Bryce's guts and doesn't want anything to do with him, and then out of the blue at school the next day, Bryce walks up to her, grabs her by the sides and tries to kiss her. Out of complete nowhere, FULLY aware she doesn't like him, without any consent whatsoever. Which she is visibly disgusted and horrified by and shoves him away. This is also made out to be romantic. The movie ends with the two eventually getting together, and throughout the entire thing, they're made out to be the good guys. So, basically, the message of the story is that if someone doesn't reciprocate your feelings, you just harass and creep all over them until they do. And that if someone's stalking you and disrespecting your boundaries, you should consider yourself lucky because that obviously means they're the one for you. No. Just no. Sorry. This is an utterly toxic message for kids, and I was disgusted watching it.

Kid Vs. Kat was a hilarious, creative and enjoyable show with great characters and a terrific plot and arc, and definitely on my favourites list. My only complaint is the ending. The finale "The Kat Went Back" was the culminating arc of the series, and those are meant to have closure, so that the arc finishes, and the show comes to an end on a comfortable note, like Gravity Falls or H2O: Just Add Water. In my opinion, Kid Vs. Kat should have ended with Kat and Coop finally getting over their differences, Burt and Millie apologizing to him for not believing Kat was an alien, and Coop accepting Kat as a part of their family for real and them all being friends now instead of enemies, because Coop and Kat are undeniably a better team than they are rivals. That would have shown growth, development, closure and satisfaction and made a really nice ending. Instead it just pointlessly reverts back to the default and doesn't even HAVE a proper ending. That really sucked. I also would have toned down the constant levels of injustice on Coop, and gotten rid of a few bits of immature humor. If those three things had been fixed, I definitely would have given it five stars. The rest of the show definitely deserves it.

Bland and tasteless, immature humor that's failing miserably, and protagonists are painfully shallow and amoral, all of whom are terrible examples for children. It's literally a show about these three so-called "friends", who treat each other terribly, bully each other and do incredibly bad and amoral things to each other AND those around them, all while laughing as if it's all funny. The show encourages things like bullying between students, talking back and being rude and disrespectful towards adults, gender misogyny and stereotypes, as well as treating things like bullying and sexual assault as funny gags. There's this one episode where a woman sexually assaults Spencer, forcibly making out with him multiple times throughout the episode, traumatizing and assaulting him, and this is treated like something to laugh at. This is not funny. He should have called the police on that. If a man did this to a woman, there would be an uproar of feminist outrage; the show could even be sued. Yet when a woman does this to a man, it's funny? No. That's just pure misandry and a terrible lesson to show to kids. This show is a terrible role model for children, and I would NOT recommend watching it OR showing it to your kids.

Honestly, this movie was pretty good. I wouldn't call it anything super special, but it certainly wasn't a bad movie. It has a really good message, entertaining plot and cool characters. Meredith is a despicable and dangerous villain, and seeing the Bratz show her up and bring friendship and strong spirit to their previously tyrannised school was great. Very feel-good themes and good strong female heroes. I especially enjoyed it when Meredith said to Cameron near the end "Cameron, if you go on that stage, I am never speaking to you again!" and Cameron said "You know what? That's the best offer I've heard all day!" before heading onstage. Awesome line. Overall, this movie was good. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but good.

I have mixed opinions on this movie. I loved a lot of parts of it, like the plot of Scrat and the asteroids, and seeing Buck again was obviously fantastic, but I didn't like the plot of Peaches and Julian leaving or the crystals. The lack of harmony and thematic consistency with the previous Ice Age plots was really rubbish, and it definitely needed a different plot. The asteroids and "world ending" could definitely be kept, but the whole thing with Geotopia and the magnetic crystals was super lame, and I don't like how Granny became young again, and Brooke was a really bad character. As well as the fact so many characters were very OOC, particularly Diego and Shira, as well as forced emotion and clear plot-shoving in a certain direction that didn't feel natural at all. Basically it was a really bad film that could have had the potential to be a really good film, but wasn't, and was quite wasted.

I really like the characters, and its good songs are really good, but the show itself is honestly a bit bland. It really feels like a wasted cast. The motley crew of Arlo, Bertie and the others is quirky and fun, but the episodes aren't very entertaining.

The first three seasons unequivocally deserve five stars, as this show was utterly incredible. The action, excitement, humor, friendship, romance, arcs, mystery, plot twists and culminating finale made it one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen. What kicked it down a star was Season 4. Some of its plots and arcs were fairly good concepts, and it had the potential to be an amazing final season, but it was completely ruined by the OOC characterization, character abuse, sloppy writing, continuity errors, forced plots, lack of conclusion and disgustingly unsatisfying ending. It didn't even have a proper ending. If those things had been fixed, and the show had not jumped the shark, that season could have been incredible. But it wasn't, so overall I'm only giving this show four stars.
