I had high hopes for this follow up. Let's be honest, despite a strong cast in both time periods, this film is poorly written. The flaws range from predictable jump scares and truly awful (like Blackpool wax work museums)zombie style creatures. McCavoy has been terrific in everything I've ever seen him in but even he can't save this poor sequel. Please don't believe the reviews, of which I've no idea who was paid to write them. The line "Let's kill this f@#$@#g clown" is repeated twice as if it's Bruce Willis atop Nakatomi Plaza and it is every bit as cringe as you imagine. Wax heads roll on screen but heads should roll for releasing this. Can honestly say I didn't jump or feel fear at any point. If i could include a pucture of a wax head sprouting long crab legs to illustrate my point i would. The head was smiling at this point. Stay clear.
