THE LION KING (10/10)
A Fast-Paced Potboiler thrown by John Favreau made me recall my beautiful memories attached with the Old Lion King. The remake is definitely a better improved version mainly because the animation is drawn back and reality comes into play.
Story: King Mufasa being the head of the jungle has complete rule wherever the light falls. At the beginning, Mufasa is blessed with a cub (Simmba). All the animals, may it be the Rhino's, Elephant's, Girraffe's, Monkeys all make their way in huge populations towards the headland where Mufasa resides alongside his wife Sarabi. They all bow to the King with immense pleasure and to take the first glimpse of Simmba. The encapsulating meadows and the lush vegetation adds to the alluring nature of life.
What makes this story a bit more interesting, is the odd aspect of blood relation being that Muffasa's true brother (Scar) is the only animal that was not present during the introduction of Simba. This long rivalry and hatred that Scar has for Mufasa leads him to commiting this horrible crime of ******* (confidential, spoiler alert) Mufasa later on in the story.
On one hand, this Great King (Mufasa) earning respect from his fellow animals and being hated by his brother (Scar) who is forcefully trying to get Mufasa to abdicate from his throne and crown him instead.
Scar, also leads Simba into his traps which obliges Mufasa to come save him, killing Mufasa immediately.
All this triumph and misery that Scar feels as he is not on the throne makes him shake hands with the Hyenas and join forces with them to unite and fight Mufasa off the throne.
Later on, when Mufasa dies Simba is provoked by Scar making him feel that he is the true killer of his father. Simba's fake intuition built up by his uncle sends him off to live with some other animals that make him feel like heaven on Earth.
Nala another cub who has grown with Simba goes to find help because of the infair and cruel justice that Scar is treating them with, coincidentally finds Simba. Nala persuades him to come join the other lions and wipe off the HYENA'S and SCAR once and for all.
This is happily accomplished and Simba and Nala are blessed with a cub, which brings us back to the Story of Mufasa and Sarabi being exalted with Simba.
