I loved the scene with the angel, and the acting wasn't bad, but the script was subpar, to say the least. It was poorly researched, for example, the Catholic church no longer automatically views suicide as a mortal sin.

This was a finely crafted film, beautifully photographed, directed and acted. It was hard to watch the cruelty of one character, but it was so compelling I couldn't tear myself away. This was true even though I am tired of watching films about homosexuality in general, (they're what, 1-2% of the entire population, isn't it time for the pendulum to swing to the middle?), it was still a very good film.

Brilliantly conceived, exquisitely filmed, never shying away from rendering the true brutality of war or the beauty of the spirituality humans can possess.

I liked the character Aaron and thought he was well acted by. The ever adaptable Del Toro. I also loved the Johnny Cash song at the end with the credits. It was a perfect ending.

I lived the acting of Claire Danes, Damian Lewis, (this guy is fantastic), and Mandy Patinkin. Then when Rupert Friend joins the cast they really knock the ball out of the park.

It's very well acted and the dialogue is snappy, but the liberties they took with historical fact and the obvious bias in their treatment of the subject matter makes its a less than stellar treatment. It's a shame because it's a vr6 interesting subject.

At least the acting was good, especially the one who plays the mother of the first patient.

Brilliantly acted, realistic dialogue, great concept without typical Hollywood idiocy. The truth is, I’m alternating between fervent admiration and disgust. He’s so sweet, yet so creepy at times, like a lot of us, which I guess is the perhaps the point.
