Honestly, disappointed, 4 mintues into the movie I realized it's completely ruined and just underwhelming, in the original there was a full blown riot in the streets of Tokyo and in the "remake" it's just an angry group with torches, just not enough to set the scene that the original movie did a good job at conveying to the viewer. The universe in the original movie was laid out in a way where the Special Police Force and the way they are would actually make sense, spoilers: The Third Reich's take over of the World (in the original) prompted the Japanese government to be way more brutal but the remake's Unified Korea just doesnt make any sense, not to mention something like this would never be possible while the current chinese government exists, the creators just had to break away from the Dystopian German-Japanese world to twist the francise into their own liking and not being concerned about keeping the sensibility of the concept intact
