Possibly the WORST series I've watched EVER. I am so disappointed in Cartoon Network for making Ben look like a HUGE disappointment to all the older fans who have watched all of the series. I know that the entire purpose of rebooting the series was to focus on the audience of lower ages but I think they are wasting their time producing the reboot when they could've AT LEAST produced a better show showing Ben 10k's timeline or a timeline of Ben in his twenties. I have to say that all of the series before the reboot-the original series, Alien Force, Ultimate Alien, and Omniverse- were AMAZING. There are a lot of people who said that the Omniverse series was bad, but most of them, after watching the entire series said that it was actually amazing in the end. I was one of those people and I ended up LOVING the Omniverse series so much. To see them make a reboot of this masterpiece and to make the series AND Ben look so pointless is so saddening. The reboot has made Ben look so much powerful than any of the previous series and that eliminates the whole mindset of Ben being on the level of a human and him actually experiencing a form of bitter defeat for at least once. This never happened in the series before the reboot, for example- in Alien Force, when Ben went against Vilgax and ended up having his omnitrix self destruct, or when, in Ultimate Alien, his ultimatrix malfunctioned and he ended up having to use an omnitrix that was a little similar to his original Omnitrix, or in Omniverse, when Maltruant was on the verge of creating his own universe. I also noticed that they forced humour in certain episodes and it was just straight up cringy to watch. All the characters, ESPECIALLY grandpa Max looks like a joke. In the previous series before the reboot, as the series started progressing, one could see Grandpa Max getting older and older, and in the second last episode of Ominverse, we saw Ben 10k's timeline where Grandpa Max finally retires. In the reboot, however, he acts like more of a youngster than the grandpa that he actually was in the original Ben 10 series. In the reboot, he is also allowed to use an 'enhanced form' of his alien, and that ruins the whole point of him having an ultimatrix before this, in 'Ultimate Alien'. It seems like the whole point of the show was to basically put in all of the previous series into one disappointing reboot. They have even removed some of the aliens that were loved by the audience- Feedback, Chromastone, Blitzwolfer, etc. Whenever I think of how bad the reboot is, it always reminds me of the golden era of when Ben 10 and so many other shows (that were aired on Cartoon Network) were actually fun to all us, who are teens or in our twenties right now. I bet almost all of us teens who have seen all of the Ben 10 series in our childhood are COMPLETELY disappointed with Cartoon Network for ruining the name of Ben 10. To all the producers of the reboot version of Ben 10, please stop wasting time making Ben 10 look soo pointless and instead, try to revive the name of Ben 10 by producing a Ben 10k series or a series of Ben in his twenties, so that the entire audience, EVEN us teens, can enjoy, please.
