All young children will enjoy this book about the precious calf named Constance, her parents, her friends, and the little girl who came to her rescue. The illustrator is an inspiration himself,His whimsical style of drawing and painting add much interest for the reader, Also, he has focused on remarkable details like Cornelia’s eartags, the auction barn, and the other animals as well as birds. The book kept me smiling , and I recommend it highly.
