I throughly enjoyed this movie. Some of the acting was understated but that didnt detract from the overall story at all. The 2 hours of the movie whipped past and to be quite honest they even managed to stick to the history of the battle during the filming itself. My only negative comment is that they tried to put to much history into the film, pearl harbour to midway with the battle of the coral sea and the marshall islands included seemed too much. I do understand that the battle needed some context about it, but perhaps there could have been another way of doing that and concentrating on the main event more. However as i said at the beginning cracking film and i throughly enjoyed it.
