Really poor story telling, loose story line and shabby dialogues. Unfortunately a courtroom drama movie without strong moot points. I just watched a movie "Law". Surprisingly, it has a very similar story line. But has light moments in between, shows the role of police, politicians, media, social media, has twists and turns and gives fitting judgement to the rapists and shouts out a message to the society. Ponmagal Vandhal tries to make it black and white, doesn't explore the areas of grey ... just focuses on how the abuse happened, how the victims suffered, more than the story of how good wins over bad, how the predators and their families get screwed. I hope the film makers will understand to skip some visuals and have a greater impact and better message to the society rather than have gory visuals and spread fear , without any message coming out.
