I would say this book was a solid ok. I would give it 2.5 stars if I could. The book was about snow’s past, but I thought the most interesting part was actually the tidbits we got about the evolution of the hunger games themselves. I wish there had been more on that subject. Knowing snow is the villain in the original trilogy made it hard for me to get behind him as a character and I usually found myself rooting against him and for most of the other characters instead. Could have been better, could have been worse
