Can you say painful? I watched video a while back, but my wife and I decided last night we should watch it again. I don’t necessarily want to spoil this movie for those who have not watched this, but I’ll give you the jist. Four guys played by Zach Galifianakis (Alan), Bradley Cooper (Phil), Justin Bartha (Doug), and Ed Helms (Stu), all go on a trip to Las Vegas for a bachelor party. The groom after a while night of who knows what happened, goes missing and now they have to back track what happened. One of these guys, I won’t say names, but thought it was a good idea to put drugs in everyone’s drinks which explains why they can’t remember what happened. Throughout this hilarious film you will see some well known comedians and actors like Jeffrey Tambor, Rachael Harris, and Ken Jeong. This movie has been an absolute classic for my family and I for almost 30 years. When this film originally came out in 1993 I had no idea just how many famous actors were in this film. Right off the bat ofcorse you see the very well known Dan Aykroyd playing Belder Conehead, then when they get to their hotel you see behind the counter, Michael Richard’s, which if your familiar is well know throughout the Seinfeld series, then you have Sinbad who helps Belder get some work and even get his “green card” from another well known comedic, Adam Sandler, and then when you think you’ve seen all the well known actors, you are suddenly surprised to see the Tommy Boy Duo, David Spade and Chris Farley. I could go on and on with more because this movie is packed full of Saturday Night Live comedic that will keep you laughing until you hurt. Anyway, The Coneheads are natives of the planet Remulak, stranded on Earth. Their distinguishing feature is the tops of their heads, shaped like large, bald cones. The father’s name is Belder, his wife is Prymaat, and their teenage daughter is Connie. Belder and Prymaat sometimes use the pseudonyms Fred and Joyce. Belder states his occupation as “timekeeper of Remulak”, this means he is a spy tasked with alerting his home planet to the optimum time for an invasion of Earth, which he fails to do. Connie is assimilating through association with her peers at school, and some family stress is caused by her desire to live as a typical Earth teenager. Belder gives his family a cover story to explain their strange behavior by saying that they are “from France.” I don’t want to give the whole movie away so you will just have to check it out for yourself. My wife and I just started this show and from the getco you can just tell this is like the show Alone meets the show Survivor. At first it seems everyone is playing a good and fair game with four individual teams, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta, but then Alpha throws a curve ball by sabotaging the other opponents team causing them to leave the competition or go to other teams to work together. In this first season to girls from the Alpha team, Jill & Amber, are the most evil, twisted, self absorbed, little brats on the show. They are a pair of narcissistic that have me getting up and yelling at the tv even. When it came down between two teams my money was on Charlie team to win! Tell me what you guys thought of the show. It would be cool to hear your guys thoughts were on it all. This movie is so phenomenally well done. This movie starts off introducing a young boy who has some serious doubt about the existence of Santa Clause. He can’t sleep and hears the loud of horn coming from none other than the “Polar Express.” He is then Introduced to come aboard from the conductor, played by Tom Hanks, to visit the North Pole, throughout the journey the boy meets new friends, has hot coaco, loses a girls ticket, and meets a hobo, also played by Tom Hanks. It’s so fun to watch and keeps you on the edge of your seat as they make thier way to the North Pole, but what is so magical is what makes you start believing in the spirit of Christmas when they get to their destination. This movie was so well done. It was really nice to see a background of the Mario Bros trying to make it through tough times opening up a business in Brooklyn. Then while trying to make a difference in society come in contact with a pipe which sends them to this alternative reality. It was so much fun to hear the familiar sounds and music that we all know from playing the video games when we were younger. This movie had me laughing, Bowser, being played by Jack Black ofcorse had such a witty side that wasn’t expected, was played so well. I don’t want to give away too much, but it was really neat to hear a small background from where Princess Peach came from and how she became a princess in the mushroom kingdom. My kids and I loved it and now that we have a new game system we are able to play the nostalgic game once again. This movie is not only great for kids and also great for the gamers who once played this amazing game. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed. For a long time my wife and I have been fans of crime/ murder mystery style shows. I could name a handful of them that I really like is NCIS. The characters are quick and witty with their sense of humor along with going through the process of elimination when they are trying to catch their suspect for these crimes. It is one of those shows where you can’t just watch one, you have to watch multiple. Each episode of NCIS gets better and better. I was only 10 years old when the World Trade Center was struck by two aircrafts. I can’t believe it has been 22 years. I can remember it like it was only yesterday. This documentary was really well done. The video footage from everyone that day is incredible and I’m thankful that we can look back on this historic day through the eyes of everyone who was there to witness such a horrible tragedy. The events that took place this day start off like any ordinary day, people grabbing their morning coffee, people are going to work, no one knows the events that are about to unfold and when it happens the world stands still….. Four plains were hijacked that day, three of the four made their targets. Flight 93 was able to overpower the hijackers, but sacrificed themselves to save the people down below from being impacted at the Pentagon. Watching this it brought me back, the moment of watching all of this happen on our old tv, sitting next to my crying mother, the silence that filled the room. And then that moment…..the South Tower fell. Our hearts just collapsed, can’t even contemplate that this was real, this was really happening. My heart goes out to all the family and friends that who lost loved ones this day. And huge Thankyou to all of the first responders who were there to lend a hand in any way that they could. Season 1 of Seinfeld starts out incredible. I was born in the year 1990 when they were just finishing this first season. Growing up with my father and mother I would frequently go and visit my grandmother who always had Seinfeld playing in her house. Eventually I would sit and watch each episode one by one with her and I was hooked ever since. In between episodes they show bits of Jerry Seinfeld doing his stand up routine at the night clubs of New York City. Those have to be some of favorite scenes. Seinfeld expresses that it is a show about nothing, what they mean by that is that it is show of everyday life, going to work, watching tv and talking how the Mets blew it, neighbors that pop in unannounced, friends who don’t want to go watch you do laundry but they become that “come with” guy. What I really appreciate about Seinfeld is that it’s a clean family show with fun entertainment. Right now you can enjoy Seinfeld on Netflix. The Elder Scrolls V. Skyrim has been a long time favorite game for my wife Cassie. She introduced the game to when we got together almost two years ago and I am hooked haha the game has an amazing story line. Your start off the game waking up on a horse drawn wagon apparently after being arrested. You choose your character, and find out you’re a dragon born,(meaning you dragon powers like shout). The graphics to this game are amazing, the attention to detail along every quest is so impressive. There are so many missions, and the storyline gets more and more interesting as you go along the journey. Such missions will change throughout the game depending on what you do. Such as, will you want to be a vampire? Will you become a werewolf? Are you ready to join the dark brotherhood? You will not be disappointed with this game. Some of the fun part of this game is just building your house and filling it full of weapons you collect throughout the game. My wife and I got so far have gotten past level 103 and still are going! It’s a great way to pass the time and now I here you can get this game in the new virtual reality set. We have the PS4 and now think we should upgrade. We will see. Wow, this show brought back so many memories. I remember when I was young and my father had all four seasons on VHS. I was really impressed to see these seasons on Disney + so that my family and I can watch and enjoy them together. The first season helps you get to know each character and shows off their individual personalities. Once you start the show, you won’t want to stop. It’s fun for the whole family. You won’t be disappointed.
