I never write reviews but this film provoked me to. Although it is a good rendition of the original PINK, and the essence of NO MEANS NO is still at large kept on, the movie has a lot of scope for improvement for the more subtler points that were needed to be stressed and a looootttttt less drama. The concept of a girl defending herself has been completely stripped and taken away, lost in the struggle to idealise the concept of 'hero's and the title vakeel Saab. There were many such points that made PINK a wholesome and unique watch. Vakeel Saab essentially again boiled it down to someone fighting FOR the girl. Then and only then is she heard??? Dramatization is good and all but the take home message that a girl needs to learn to defend herself and the subtlety of it all was sadly lost. If you have watched the original I strongly suggest you stay away from this. It somehow leaves a bad aftertaste and you can't help but feel sorry for yourself for watching it and helpless comparing it to the original. Somethings should be kept original ALWAYS for a reason.
