Very average film, every main character is extremely dislikable, which is ok if the movie makes a valid commentary on the human condition or an unjust system. How can any of it be taken seriously when the protagonist and voiceover for the film (the moral centre of the film?) is a functioning psychopath. When the antagonist is Russian mafia? Really, that's all you could come up with? Several scenes are not based in reality, cartoonish almost, the courtroom can be impartial but the movie is so removed from reality it mocks the idea of impartiality in a courtroom. In a purely action movie I would overlook stupid writing like opening your mouth wide whilst metres underwater and not taking in water.. ok. emptying 20 litres of petrol into a house, igniting it where the petrol was thrown and it doesn't explode for several seconds.. ok.. I really tried to like it, I did but it's just not a good movie nothing going for it 40% at best.
