Mean Girls is a fun movie and I happen to like Lindsey Lohan. Lindsey is alone in a sea of stereotypes and their performances are over the top and delightful.

Totally redundant and all out boring movie. If you’re ten is to watch these two great actors please go elsewhere. This film will not achieve that

It’s predictable, drawn out, and flat out boring. Common factory workers laced with bad guy mercenaries. BORING!It also contains the obligatory roller skating scene which is supposed to pass for human interest.

I grew up in Pittsburgh and was 10 years old when they made it. I remember the buzz about the movie being filmed in our area. Most of it came due to Chilly Billy Cardille who hosted several different local TV shows at that time. I met him once and he was a sweetheart. A real Pittsburgh guy. I’m glad he got a part in the movie. Watching it tonight I’m very impressed with Mr. Romero’s filming angles, editing, and lighting. I’m a film mavin and I didn’t take these types of things into account when seeing it when I was 10. It really is a good movie and even though I don’t live there now I’ll always be a Pittsburgh guy and I’m proud of this movie. Hope you enjoy it!

If they could make a classic like King Kong in 1933 how could they possibly make something so bad it’s embarrassing to watch in 1974? Woe to Timothy Bottoms.

I can’t believe they gave Jane Best Actress. I think most people would agree with me that it is plodding and boring as are with most of that era’s films. Godfather excluded. That horrible period music in the background. Puke!!! Shag is ok I quess. Otherwise waste of 2 hours.

Certainly Kirk is in an unflattering role. He, however, is the consummate actor and makes a determined effort in whatever role he plays. I’m a huge Barbara Stanwyck fan so her performance goes without saying. Van Heflin got that string of leading roles in the forties. He’s not a heartthrob but has this somewhat roguish attitude that makes him irresistible to these yearning women. Babs in this one and Joan Crawford in Possessed. Well written story and fun to watch.

I’ve watched this movie many times since I was a kid. I’m not a huge Clark Gable fan but he hits the nail on the head in this one. Even as a young boy I was taken with Jeannette MacDonald singing the Jewel Song from Faust. I became an opera maven throughout the years so that was telling.

The nuns showed us this movie when I was in 6th grade 1969! Pretty progressive for them. The girls were crying for Ms. Day. Anyway it holds up with a fine cast. I enjoyed watching it tonight after all these years!

It’s a dedicated film with fine acting. Blackboard Jungle, Dangerous Minds , etc.......All explore the same theme. Sadly however, as a society we are no further along than we were 50 years ago. Only in futuristic films does there seem too be a resolution. I’m sad that it goes on in my lifetime. To be fair their have been advances be it so slowly.
