I admire the use of verbiage and powerful language maneuver used by defendant lawyer Laughlin to defend Mildred Gillars -the defendant in person accused of treason (not Axis Sally as a persona played by the former). This same strategy could only be played aptly by Al Pacino as lawyer Arthur Kirkland played by same in an American courtroom drama depicted in a 1979 movie “And Justice for All”. Brilliant use and execution of language to save the life of an accused for treason and reduce life sentence to 12 years in federal prison.
