I have watched SNL for decades. Unfortunately, this current cast and producers have highjacked the show for their political platform and use it as a conservative hit piece. It's just become exhausting. There is plenty other things happening in the world for every skit to basically be "orange man bad". Since Andy Sandburg left all the songs written are just boring and have no comedic value whatsoever. At the end of the day, this show has supported national divide and I think the only thing to do is put it to bed for good. It's betrayed its fans far too long and they'll never gain the audience they once had.

This show illustrates the current double standard we have in society. The story is based on two people who both contribute to a toxic marriage. The wife refuses to take any accountability for her part and slides into a drug fuelled disaster while she plots the death if her husband. She continuously assaults men after putting herself in bad situations. It's all poorly passed off as comedy, while if the roles were switched and the show was based ona man who tried to murder his wife while continuing to assault women, this show would not see the light of day and all actors would not have a career after such a disaster. Some if the actors in this show are involved in many feminist movements that are against domestic abuse while gladly acting in a show that champions domestic abuse and passing it off as a twist on comedy.
