The world's first alcohol free spirits were created in 2011 by my company Arkay Beverages. I was inspired to produce alcohol free spirits following an episode with my 22-year-old son, who upon returning home from a party where there was ample imbibing, began to feel those certain unappealing after-effects. My son, of course, didn’t realize that his suggestion would compel me, his father to not only spend the next five years of my life researching such a method, but I would spend several million dollars to make it happen. Arkay, a product line of beverages that are liquor flavored but 100% free of alcohol. Introduced in 2011, demand for the zero proof spirits has generated skyrocket sales throughout the world. The company since 2011 has continued building success by creating new versions of Whisky, Vodka, Rum, Gin and Tequila, which may taste like the real deal, but are totally free of alcohol. I am the creator of the world’s first 0% ABV non-alcoholic spirits category.
