Read this book in early 1960s, and to this day it haunts. Should be required reading for all racists - perhaps then they would understand "there but for the grace of all that's holy go I."

Very authentic. At the time of the trial i lived in Chicago on the Near North side and everything in this film rang true. Well worth seeing.
