Everything (right from its etymology to its usage) (of a word) perspicuously explained. I don't think any other book is going to be authored in the future which will be of superior quality than this one.
When I started reading this book, I got a vicarious feeling, as if I actually had a teacher in front and was riveted by the fleeting vein of humour his articles has in the 'brief intermissions'. The chapter have been well segregated according to where they are to be used and how they are related. Awesome book and highly recommended for logophiles.
Hats off to this wordsmith and omniscient (in the field of semantics) - Norman Lewis.
