It’s good, but it just doesn’t compare to Z Nation. Z Nation had it’s own special “magic” about it that no other zombie show had. In my opinion, the main difference was that it was lacking the comedy that Z Nation had. Maybe I could have had my expectations too high, so that’s why I didn’t enjoy. I don’t know. But if that’s case, I’m going to give it 3/5 stars because I know people who enjoyed it.

I absolutely love this show and I was so sad to see it being cancelled after 5 seasons! The show was not only a horror and thriller, but it was also a comedy (and you don’t really see much comedy in zombie shows these days). That was what set it apart from the others. Plus, it never got boring. You got an exciting new adventure every episode. That was one thing I didn’t like about The Walking Dead. It was boring and most of the time, they did the same thing every episode (or did nothing at all) and it had no endgame, plot, or even a point to exist. This show actually had that with “The Murphy”. So, we need a season 6! Finally, I am glad to have Black Summer, but it just doesn’t compare to Z Nation. I personally didn’t find the prequel very enjoying...
