Nothing more than a vanity project by Joss Whedon. The 2012 Much Ado adaptation is so bland and literally colourless that my family and I almost dozed off. The complete lack if costuming or writing takes the brilliance of Shakespeare and mutilates it, making a dull attempt at connecting with a modern audience. Thoroughly unimpressed.
