I've only gotten to Book 5, not even halfway through the series. I was going to watch this show with an open mind and was actually kind of excited to see what was done. 15 minutes into Episode 1 and I was so disgusted with it I shut it off. 3 days later I decided to go back to it. If you've never read the books, it might be enjoyable. But the storyline is WAY off. On top of that: Lan is way too open; I don't remember the Aes Sedai referring to each other as [name] Sedai, just each other's names; Mat is supposed to be more of a happy-go-lucky person not 2 steps away from being a drunkard; Perrin is NOT married and shouldn't be for a long while yet; where the eff is Elyas?; the Tinkers looks sad and drab, not the overly colorful people Jordan portrayed; Egwene and Rand have NOT been together; Egwene is NOT in the Women's Circle; Logain should NOT be able to see when a woman channels; who is this King that followed Logain?; how is Thom supposed to "knuckle his mustaches" or "blow out his mustaches" if he doesn't have mustaches?!? There's so much wrong that I can't just sit here and enjoy the show. I expected better, Amazon. I really did.
