If you're a heritage learner you might find the book a little too simple. The coverage is perfectly okay for anybody else, although you'll only learn a few grammatical particles towards the end of the book, so it's not comprehensive at all. Beyond this you'd want a good dictionary and maybe a grammar, and access to YouTube and various Burmese language independent news sites, like Myanmar Now and Irrawaddy.
There are a few typos and misspellings in the book itself, and a few of the English translations are not precise. There is also no glossary, which is really infuriating if you want to quickly locate the Burmese spelling of a word, rather than having to flick through the book.
