So, having read Mark of the Remaker, I am now longing to read the next Hugo, Remaker novel, because Yamagata has found his footing and his characters have taken on a life of their own in their heroic quest. Like all good sequels their fate lays in the hands of their now published author, having cast his story with youthful, living souls, facing the real possibility of death with each rebellious engagement with the troops of Rubin, a Master Remaker who has out lived their fathers in the Void Wars.
