Well that was amazing. Pedro is peak tier garbage human material. I haven't hated a character this much in a long, long time.

Generally pretty fun, but a far cry from other movies the cast has starred in. Jason Bateman's character was the worst. Leave him out of the movie and it would be much better; with him, it probably deserves a 2.5/5, but since we can't do half stars, I'll give it a 3.

This would've been fantastic if all the characters weren't so unbelievably stupid. Unfortunately, they are all stupid, and so it is completely frustrating to watch. Every episode managed to be cool but also piss me off in the end. These characters suck.

Laughed so hard when the female lead took a nap and then a bath in the middle of being haunted and waiting for the male lead's text/call 🤣 This movie is some goofy, bad movie fun. It's worth a watch if that's what you're looking for.

Way too long, the characters suck, and the plot is insane, completely unexplained, and super random.

Summary: don't watch it unless you are incredibly bored and just want to see a kind of cool monster and some cool cinematography More in depth review: They did an absolutely epic job of making me hate these characters lol. Laura should've given this kid up early on once realizing she had zero capacity to deal with him and once she blacked out drunk the third day in a row. Where is CPS checking up on her or whoever? Because wow they should've separated them. The visuals and cinematography are great, but the story is pretty worthless. Edit: Oh God, did she just half knock herself out with the door? What the hell is this movie? Everyone in this movie is either incredibly stupid or out of their minds, lacking any sense. Grief can explain a lot, but these people are absurd. Edit 2: Nooooo, come on, give us some sort of ending will you? I hate that I watched this.

Like 25 minutes in: wow, these are some evil parents. 75 minutes in: why didn't they kill that thing!!!!???

It would've been better if the crew were less stupid. The ship design also feels nonsensical and they are going to an unexplored planet without any weapons. There are just a ton of goofy points that make it less compelling than it should have been. Anyway, if you can suspend disbelieve most of the way, it is a fun sci-fi horror movie.

Eh, it's alright. These horror movies that portray hundreds of years ago are always so frustrating because every character is as dumb as a post. No one has any common sense or skepticism, instead they just jump to random conclusions and generally make dumb decisions. Also, these parents just believe anything their kids say without question. Look, I get people in the 1800's were dumb by today's standards, but I find it hard to believe that they were THAT dumb. Then again, we had witch trials, so I guess my faith in humanity might by misplaced. Still, the parents would catch on to literally every kid in the village acting like a psychopath. Oh, and these "children" are like 35 or something at times. They couldn't afford some younger actors?

Their quarantine procedures could use some work; that and their friend just randomly shooting a dude are the two most annoying pieces of this movie. Other than those two pieces, I'd say it's a pretty good, if not groundbreaking, slasher flick.
