A bit dissappointed. Tak Sakaguchi is amazing and his endurance shows, and the cameramen does a great job never getting his shadow caught up in the scenes with heavy sunlight hitting on this big one take film. But the gimmick got old after the same few stuntment kept getting "killed" then showing up at the front lines to get "killed" again over and over and over. At one point the movie just started to feel like a YouTube homemade movie with a group of friends who found a nice location and got all the right props (swords and wardrobe), but what they completely missed was blood. No dismemberment, no decapitation, and again, the worst part, the same few lame stuntmen circulating through the whole single take to die over and over again.
I was laughing and enjoying myself the first 20 minutes before I realized what was going on. From then on I drifted off onto my phone. There's an amazing sequence at the end which really makes you wonder why they couldn't give us a film that good in it's entirety. Still a fan of Tak, but as for this film. Catch the ending on Youtube and skip this repetitive snoozefest.
