What a great show! I appreciate the story so much because I used to be in Vienna, Austria and Budapest, Hungary, visited Sisi beloved Gödöllő, her favorite home that she could escape SCHÖNBRUNN boring, strict court rules. Sisi was a free spirit who fell in love with an Emperor who loved her dearly. The woman was real and well ahead of her time. She loved to exercise to stay thin. I saw her exercise machine at the SCHÖNBRUNN palace. How Franz died poor and how modest his bed and bedroom was. Can’t wait for season 2, 3, 4, ….. until the episode on her end of life. Thank you for keeping their true love legacy alive!
