As a Chilean, this film shocked me. This film is full of holes in terms of historical accuracy. This film was made in Europe, by Europeans and for Europeans. These foreigners only believe what they want to believe about that very difficult time in Chile's history, and it does a disservice to all of us Chileans to cast a blanket blame on us. If they want to tell Chile's story, please do it; but use actual Chileans to do it, and actually tell the stories of those adversely affected by the dictatorship. Don't make a nightmare into a love story!
