I have loved African Queen since I saw it in black white in television with my family in the early 60s. Hepburn is so perfect in the role of the old maid minister"s sister with the courage of 40 men that I think it is her best. Bogie of course is great, when was he not. also love Theodore Bikel as the pompous captain of the gunboat. A gem of the small role, complete with a portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm behind him. Perfect.
