Despite an appearance from Julian Rhind Tut baring almost exact resemblance to his character in Britannia, I can forgive it as, for the most part The Witcher has proved to be a gripping, gritty series. Where mystical beasts, magic and humankind collide, we have been left wanting more and sorely disappointed to be facing a years wait, with 2021 as the projected release date for series 2. Those comparing to GOT have missed the point, this series gives something completely different and, has successfully achieved the foundations for another great TV series. Waiting with anticipation for series two, a year being too long.
