This is how I would imagine Keanu and Winona in real life...lol. Another reviewer mentioned this movie was for Gen Xers, and maybe he is right, I am also Gen X...and I find myself hating anyone who didnt like the movie. What is wrong with these people? I watched it twice. I guess dialogue has become a dinosaur. SAD.

The cinematic angles used over and over to shoot the young boy and the lack of clothes in many of his scenes were criminal...made me want to call the police. Where are the real parents of this boy? And who decided this was entertaining?

I watched this movie with my bf and I thought it was a very white knuckle psychological thriller...some reviewers commented on the poor quality, but I thought the cinematography had a real 70s feel to it and captured a feeling you get down there, in those islands. It all seemed very plausible to me. At the end of this movie, I said to my bf 'I'm not going scuba diving and we're not getting a boat.':)

This movie made me cry!!!...120,000 people estimated innocently imprisoned...and the people responsible go scott free...God bless the wrongly convicted!

This is not how acid dance parties are in real life...what terrible messaging all through this movie! my bf and I turned it off about 15 minutes in and then I tried again a few days later and turned it off midway thru. It won awards??

I never saw the original but I loved this movie and I absolutely love eugenio derbez. I kept wishing my mexican boyfriend was watching this with me. We both loved How to be a Latin Lover, too. Move over Cantinflas-- I love THIS guy!! Will have to check out his other movies.

This movie struck me as being a meaningless vehicle for showing off the actors chops and nothing more...We wanted to change to another movie after the first 5 minutes. I dont think I can watch another quentin tarentino movie or worse, a wanna be...chris hemsworth has a nice body, and the young girl was interesting looking but thats about it...the incredibly shallow messaging in this movie is the kind that makes me stop watching movies for a couple months.
